Regulations EC261 / UK261
Vueling is a low-cost airline registered in Spain. As it is a EU airline, it has to follow certain EU laws and regulations. There are two regulations that apply to Vueling flights — the EU Regulation No. 261/2004 and the Regulation UK261. If your Vueling flight is delayed, cancelled or overbooked, you might be entitled to EU or UK flight compensation. Don’t forget to file a claim!
EU and UK air passenger rights laws are practically identical.

Vueling Flight Delay Compensation
ELIGIBILITY:
all passengers (includes infants)
Are you experiencing flight delay? If your Vueling flight lands at your destination airport 3 or more hours later than scheduled, and the delay is due to the airline’s fault, not due to unforeseeable circumstances, you might be entitled to EU flight delay compensation of up to 600 euro. For example, technical problems and airline staff strikes are considered the airline’s fault (you can get compensation from Vueling).
Vueling Refund For Cancellation
ELIGIBILITY:
all passengers (includes infants)
When Vueling cancels a flight (no matter the reason), you must be given a choice between a new flight to your destination or a full refund for that flight. You can choose either — whichever suits your plans best. These are the rules in the EU, and they apply to all Vueling flights — flights departing from and arriving in Europe (i.e., EU, EEA, UK). Also, there are situations when you are entitled to EU flight cancellation compensation.
